Here is a rundown of our recent trip to Misamis Oriental.
Three weeks ago, we came home to Misamis Oriental. We wanted to make the most out of our trip, so we decided to visit Camiguin on our last day. From Salay, it was only a 30-minute drive to Balingoan Port. Then, we boarded the ferry to the island. I was nauseous the entire trip I did not have a decent sleep that night, but I felt better once we. The moment we left the effin ship and stepped on the ground, that’s when we knew another adventure had begun.
Last year, I had the pleasure of returning to the home of my ancestors after nine long years. I may have grown up in Cavite and it may have been the place where my roots lie, but I feel that Misamis Oriental is still vital part of my being. It felt good to be in a town full of people whose surnames (and middle names) are the same as mine. You see, it is very unusual to meet someone here in Luzon who’s also an Agcopra.
