Misamis Oriental: A Memory Dump

Here is a rundown of our recent trip to Misamis Oriental.

Lunch in Cagayan de Oro

We arrived in Laguindingan before noon. As usual, we went to Cagayan de Oro first to grab some lunch. That was our only agenda before we headed home to Salay. Centrio is our go-to place whenever we are in Mis Or, so it felt nice to be back after quite some time.

Sunsets in Salay

Upon meeting our relatives, we went around town and decided to watch the sunset. It was the first time I witnessed a sunset in Salay. It was breathtakingly beautiful. I have no words. It was the perfect welcome.

Beach Bumming in Balingasag

We spent our second day at the beach. As for me and Noy, the entire day was consisted of just eating and dozing off, plus some documentation here and there. I found a huge tree under which I took countless naps. Nothing beats naps by the beach. Before sunset, we made sure to capture a lot of photos for memory-keeping slash Instagram purposes.

A Day in Camiguin

On our last day, we went to explore Camiguin for a day.

Side Trip to Cebu

The following day, we were headed to Cebu. We scratched our original plan of exploring the northern part of the province and just spontaneously booked a cozy Airbnb. The supposed island adventure turned into a three-day staycation. The unit was just 10 minutes away from Ayala Center Cebu, so we were there most of the time. We even watched Avengers: Endgame on our second day. We were well-rested. Cebu is starting to grow on me. I cannot wait to explore more of the province or just spend some more time of relaxation in the city.
