After months of waiting and contemplating, I was finally able to visit the Metropolitan Museum of Manila. Attached below is a series of my favorite photos that I have collected from my quick trip to the museum.
The Metropolitan Museum of Manila is one of the most underrated museums in the country. During the time I was there, there were only three of us wandering around the entire museum. While it was a good thing for me (I got to take my time and appreciate the artworks more), I really hope more people would go and discover the gems that are housed in our very own Met. It’s amazing, really. I fell in love with some of the artworks, while there are a few that captured my attention and evoked my feelings. All in all, it was a great way to refuel my creativity. Thanks to my this museum trip, I was able to get some inspiration for my own writing.
The museum is located at the BSP Complex, Roxas Blvd, Malate, Manila. Entrance fee is Php 100 per head.
